A New Release Of Daedalus just tops it up for this week, as the creator of daedalus’s friend brings out a new release!
Taken From QJ:
Yeah, we hear everyone clamoring for Daedalus’ R9 release from StrmnNrmn and Wally’s recent Spiff Up seemed to fill the unsettling N64 void. Operative word, of course, is “seemed”. Because, face it, despite how we all love Wally’s “spiffy,” one can’t help but wonder about Daedalus itself. Is Daedalus daed dead?
Here’s to hoping that it isn’t. funk_man was able to obtain Daedalus Shifty Beta 1 from his friend in school: homebrew programmer Shifty. funk_man attests that the games he’s played on it have definitely sped up. It’s still not full speed, but he comments that it’s faster than StrmnNrmn’s Daedalus R8.
Here are some notes from Shifty:
only roms in .z64 format will run at high speed
all other rom files have some what slower speeds, but load textures better
some .z64 files have textures that don’t load, like the water in Mario 64
As for Daedalus, StrmnNrmn better make an appearance soon before more and more people get restless. This Shifty Beta 1 release is to hoping that all that restlessness would subside (at least for now). Besides, it’s got a speed-up. And we know how much all of you’ve commented that that’s one of the most important things you’re looking for.Cheers to Shifty and shout outs to StrmnNrmn! Keep this emu alive!

I can’t get it either because it is only for version 1.0. Which leads to this question firmware is better 1.5 or 1.0 and why?

transformer protection
There were some teeny adjustments in the erstwhile empirical units, but this transformer protection a diminutive charge to pay for having them solder together an unmixed, jolly detailed, group of units. Cut asunder by for edu.
